The U.S. Commercial Nigeria helps promote U.S. exports by sponsoring "Buyer Delegations" to the United States. By participating as a delegate of USCS, Nigerian companies receive assistance ranging from pre-arranged individual appointments with U.S. companies, assistance on the show floor, and exclusive access to benefits such as international business receptions to plant visits.

In the past, International Buyer Programs (IBP) have resulted in numerous successes, including signed distributorship agreements, joint venture and strategic alliance partnerships, and the direct purchase of supplies and capital equipment.
